GPS Jurassic Coördinates

The following GPS points will lead you to discover 10 localities that lent their names to the Jurassic Stages. Every Stage or stratigraphic unit is a time interval used by geologists, defined by the fossils it contains and by a geological sequence that serves as an international reference. With the aid of Google Earth (http://earth.google.com), a specialized
map, or a GPS device, are you able to identify the 10 localities that named the Jurassic stages? Remember that the whole Jurassic sequence is composed of 11 stages. Can you guess the only Jurassic stage that was not named after a geographic locality?
